Drugs, weapons, ‘Glock switch’ recovered; two arrested

On Sept. 25, the Nashville Police Department, Arkansas State Police and Arkansas Game and Fish assisted the 9th West Drug Task Force in executing a search warrant at 515 W. Sypert Street in Nashville.

There were two arrests made as a result of the search warrant: 

Kenyon Guarisco, 18, of Nashville, was arrested for simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a drug premises and possession of a controlled substance VI with purpose to deliver; and

David Lima, 20, of Nashville was arrested for: obstructing governmental operations and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

Items seized as a result of the search warrant included $2,880 in cash, 2115.1 grams of marijuana, 182.1 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms), one Glock .40 pistol, a Glock switch and Matrix Arms 7.62 rifle

Federal agents were contacted to begin an investigation on the Glock switch, which converts the handgun into an automatic firearm.

These switches are illegal to posses even when not installed into a firearm and carry a federal prison sentence when convicted.
