Bonnie Dixon Staggers, 72, of Mineral Springs died Dec. 18, 2024.
She was born Oct., 26, 1951, the daughter of the late Conro and Vera Dixon. She was a former superintendent of Mineral Springs-Saratoga School District, was a member of Flint Hill CME Church. She earned college degrees from UAPB, Loyola University of Chicago, and Lewis University.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Conro Jr. and Paul Dixon; one sister, Bobbie Dixon Heard.
Survivors include: her husband, Clifford Staggers; a son, Gregory Dwayne Dixon of Nashville; a sister, Marilyn Dixon Leffall of Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Addie ‘Steve’ Dixon and Freddie Dixon, both of Mineral Springs; also grandchildren.
Services will be at Tollette First Church of God, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28,2024, with Pastor Charles Green officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Crofton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nashville Funeral Home.
