Shirley Lavelle Smith, 81, of Lockesburg died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024 in Dierks. She was born March 6, 1942, in Nashville to the late Donald Lavelle Medlock and Ida Balch Medlock.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Lockesburg.
Shed was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Smith, Jr., a brother, Eugene O’Bryant and sister, Ida Mae Stelling.
Survivors include: her loving husband of 63 years, Bobby Smith; son, James Smith and his wife, Felicia; daughter Shirley Marvelle Downing and husband, Dennis; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
