Herbert Ackley, 89, of Nashville died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, in Little Rock.
He was born Sept. 25, 1934, near Lampasas, Texas, to the late Thomas Ackley and Alma Grace Turbo Ackley.
He was retired from Weyerhaeuser Company and was a Methodist. He was a US Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rubye Ackley, and a brother, Daniel Ackley.
Survivors include: sons Kenneth Ackley, and David and wife, Lynn; a daughter, Brenda Hill; brothers Lowell Ackley, George Ackley, and Rodney Ackley; sisters Virginia Franklin, Lois Barton and Shirley Coffman; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
