Connie Mae Milam, age 91, of Murfreesboro, Ark., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, in Murfreesboro, Ark. She was born Jan. 3, 1933, in Bay City, Mich., the daughter of the late Harold C. Leder and Beatrice Joyous Pomeroy Leder.
Mrs. Milam was a member of Murfreesboro Church of Christ. She was artistic and enjoyed sewing, painting, and working jigsaw puzzles. Connie loved dogs but most importantly loved her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Ross.
Survivors include: her daughter, Joyous Mounts and husband Tommy of Murfreesboro, Ark.; grandsons Timmy Mounts of Murfreesboro, Ark., Brian Mounts and wife Brandee of Hot Springs Village, Ark., Denise Stuard and husband Tommy of Murfreesboro, Ark., great-grandchildren Lucas Mounts, Payton Mounts, Jack Stuard, Jay Stuard, John Youngblood III, Ace Rice, Taylor Lamb, and Tayt Mounts; great-great-grandchildren Blayze Stone, Lux Stone, Renlee Rice, and on the way baby girl Raylynn Joy Stuard.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14, at Murfreesboro Church of Christ with Buddy Ray officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
