SYATP events scheduled September 27-28

A community wide event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27 at the courthouse square to show support for the annual “See you at the Pole” event to be held at our local schools Wednesday, September 28.
The community event is an opportunity for residents to gather in prayer for our local schools, staff and students.
The event is sponsored by several churches and community members and is open to everyone. The event is in it’s fifth year in Mount Ida and was started to show community support for the “See You at the Pole” event held at the school.
“See You at the Pole” will begin at 7 a.m. Wednesday, September 28 on the Mount Ida School campuses. There will be refreshments provided.
“See You at the Pole” enters its 25th year with students around the world gathering on September 28 at their schools to prayer for their schools and facilities around the world. The school event is student led as it has been since its inception in 1990. This year’s theme is “We Cry Out.”
