Jeanette was born June 21, 1943, to the union of Dock Crossline and Rosie Mae Brown Crosslin.
She departed this life on Monday, Aug. 24, 2026, at home with her daughter by her side.
Jeanette was a 1961 graduate of Howard County School in Tollett, Ark. At an early age she gave her heart to the Lord and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church in White Cliffs, Ark.
In 1961, Jeanette met the love of her life, and on Dec. 23, 1962, she married M. D. Deloney. To this union one daughter Jacquline “Cookie” Deloney was born. Jeanette was Cookie’s biggest fan, best friend, and always up for an adventure with Cookie. Where you saw one you saw the other. Their joy and laughter together was infectious, reaching everyone around them.
For over 60 years Jeanette worked for the S. A. Westbrook family. She was so much more than an employee. The Deloney and Westbrook clans were and always will be family. Jeanette listened, advised, laughed, and cried with the Westbrook children. She was a second mother and grandmother, imparting her wisdom, training, and words of Godly encouragement to three generations.
In her free time, she enjoyed watching Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network, and didn’t want anyone to change the channel.
In 2018, Jeanette joined Frontline Christian Ministries in Nashville, Ark. She was a faithful member until her health began to decline.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, M. D. Deloney, her parents Dock and Rosie Mae Brown Crosslin, four brothers: L. C. Crosslin, Sylvester Crosslin, Levester Crosslin, Augusta Crosslin and one sister, Margaret Phillips.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Jacquline “Cookie” Deloney of Lockesburg, Ark., two brothers-in-law Franklin (Marva) Booker of Goodyear, Ariz., and Charles Booker of Tacoma, Wash., her God Granddaughter Charity Nelson of Ashdown, Ark., bonus daughter Lynn Westbrook Dyer of Nashville, Ark., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Sept. 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Roland-Piggee Memorial Church, Lockesburg, Ark. The church is located on Hwy. 27S, west of Mineral Springs.
