Dorothy “Hodge” Young, 89, of Nashville died Aug. 22, 2026. She was born June 23, 1937, the daughter of the late Thomas Hays Hill and Terra Hill.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James Ralph and Gene Young; and two brothers, Jesse and Bruce Hill.
Survivors include: three children, Doug and wife Jana Young, Sharon Cummins, Laurie and husband Richey LaGrone; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also, a sister, June Chandler.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at County Line Cemetery, Nashville, with Rev. Billy Sanders officiating. Services are by Latimer Funeral Home.
