E. Coli shuts down beaches at Dierks Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has closed the swim beaches at Jefferson Ridge Park East and West on Dierks Lake until further notice because of higher than acceptable E. coli levels.

the levels were found during routine testing.

USACE has posted signs indicating high bacteria levels at the swim beaches.

Park rangers will reopen the swim beaches when test results indicate bacteria levels are within an acceptable range.
