Coach William Earl Dixon III
February 9, 2000- August 15, 2026

Mr. William Earl Dixon III. 26, of Mineral Springs, Arkansas passed away unexpectedly in Mineral Springs, Arkansas. Coach Dixon was the proud graduate of Mineral Springs School. He went on to further his education at UCA earning a bachelor’s degree and was a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Inc. He then attended SAU and earned a master’s degree. He was months away from completing his Principal’s certification. Coach Dixon loved gospel music and playing the drums at an early age. He served faithfully at Northside COGIC and Greater Heights COGIC playing the drums.
He loved weightlifting, football, baseball, and basketball. He was the head Volleyball coach and the Assistant Boys’ Basketball Coach. He was a beloved son, brother, family member, colleague, friend, mentor, coach, and a valued part of the Mineral Springs Hornet Family. His impact on the students, staff, and community will never be forgotten.
He was born to Mr. William Dixon Sr. and Mrs. Donna Denise Vaughn-Dixon in Texarkana, Texas. He is survived by both parents of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, One brother, Keithen D. Dixon of Mineral Springs, Arkansas. God parents, Mr. Edgar Hendrix and Vanessa Hendrix. Bonus sister, Malorie Martin. God sister, KeeAundra Richardson.
His service will be held on Saturday August 22, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Mineral Springs Hornet Arena, 130 West Browning Street, Mineral Springs, Arkansas 71851 where Supt. Rufus Robinson will serve as Officiant and Supt. Donald Vaughn will serve as Eulogist, with a visitation at the Mineral Springs Hornet Arena on Saturday August 22, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Interment will be immediately following his service in the Crofton Cemetery, Funderburg Road, Tollette, Arkansas 71851.
