Howard County 4-H member selected as new Ouachita District Vice President

Howard County 4-Her Anna Kate McKinnon, was selected as the new Ouachita District 4-H Vice-President at the Ouachita District 4-H O’Rama in Malvern on Tuesday, June 9.

McKinnon will represent the state of Arkansas and Howard County for the next year at numerous county, district, regional, state and national events.

This award was voted on by all the youth from the Ouachita District. The 4-H O-Rama program is the culmination of a 4-H member’s year of hard work and dedication. It is designed to supplement the county 4-H program and project work.

Howard County had a total of 24 youth in attendance that competed in numerous competitions from preforming arts, outdoor skills, and prepared speeches.

One of the most sought-after awards, the spirt award, was awarded to Howard County for the second year in a row.
