The community’s citizenship awards will be presented Monday, Feb. 17, at the annual Nashville Chamber of Commerce banquet which is scheduled for the Nashville High School cafeteria.
Awards include Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Orange and Black Education Award and others. New businesses will be recognized.
The new president of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, Kristin Stavely, will be the 11th woman — and the 80th citizen — to lead the chamber.
She will officially succeed optometrist Aaron Tollett.
Stavely is a licensed realtor and is owner-broker of Stavely and Associates Real Estate with her husband, Eddie.
At the banquet, new and current chamber board members will be recognized.
