Marnetta Gore Bishop, 87, a former Nashville resident recently residing in Little Rock, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024.
She was born May 20, 1937, in Sevier County, Ark., the daughter of the late Henry Clay and Ella Carroll Gore. She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ in Nashville. She had been owner of the Merle Norman Cosmetics business in Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cecil Bishop, Jr.; brothers, Glen Gore of Odessa, Texas, Don Gore of De Queen, and Benny Gore of Mountain Home.
Survivors include: a son, Timothy Bishop of Little Rock; two brothers, Henry Gore of Fort Worth, Texas, and Randall Gore of De Queen; and a sister, Joetta Douglas of Rockwall, Texas.
Graveside funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024, at Millwee Cemetery in Horatio. Arrangements by Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
