Willie Jane Wesson, 78 of Nashville, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2024.
She was born Aug. 17, 1945, in Nashville to the late Willie Sam Maroon and Edna Marthell Clardy Maroon. She was a member of Blue Bayou Church of Christ and had been a caretaker at Howard County Children’s Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Wesson; and two sisters, Martha Eugenia Cassady, and Betty Sue Tyler.
Survivors include: three children, Laurie Coleman and husband Sam of Nashville; Jennifer Smead and husband Brian of Dierks; and Cherryl Griffin of Nashville; a sister, Anita Kay Lansdell of Nashville; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday, Feb. 17, at Nashville Funeral Home. Graveside services were Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at County Line Cemetery with Michael Howard officiating.
