The Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce has announced that their annual banquet will be held on Thursday, March 14.
The theme of the event will be “Diamonds in the Dark.”
The banquet will be held at Murfreesboro High School’s activity room and the doors will open at 5 p.m. for the first hour, attendees will eat their meals and participate in the silent auction.
The program itself will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 each and will soon be available for sale.
Organizations that purchase a full table — likely eight people — they will get one ticket free.
Dinner for the event will again be “A Taste of Murfreesboro” and the town’s major restaurants — Terri’s Place, Telinga’s Mexican Restaurant, Southern Dine and Feed Bin Cafe — has been invited to participate.
The speaker for the event will be Travis Napper, former director of the state tourism commission. Napper now acts as a tourism consultant and has prepared a topic illustrating the tourism trends for 2024.
