First Team All-Arkansas Preps Zaccheus Harris

Nashville Scrapper sophomore defensive end Zaccheus Harris has been named First Team All-Arkansas Preps by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Harris will be recognized at the Arkansas Preps Awards Banquet June 15 at the State House Convention Center in Little Rock.

He is among 400 high school athletes and coaches from 12 sports who will be recognized at the event.

Harris is the only Scrapper football player named to the All-Arkansas Preps list.

Harris led the state in quarterback sacks during the 2023 season. Through the first 11 games, he recorded 23 sacks, including two against Crossett in Nashville’s 41-36 win over the Eagles in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs. He also posted five tackles and three hurries in the game.

Against Malvern earlier in the season, Harris had three sacks, seven tackles and two hurries.
