Junior Auxiliary gets recognition, grant for ‘Story Walk’ project

The Junior Auxiliary of Nashville has been selected as the NAJA Foundation’s second annual winner of the Mary Carole Bowers Outstanding Service Project Award.

JA of Nashville received a $1,000 grant for its literacy project, “Story Walk.”

Carole Bowers is a life member of the Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County, Miss.

Local JA members Samantha Young, Allison Scott and Alayna Scott accepted the award at the national foundation conference.
