Roger Alan Bennett, 64, of Nashville, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2023.
He was born June 13, 1959, in Nashville, the son of Patsy Copeland Bennett and the late Opal Bennett.
Roger was a supervisor for Husqvarna and was a longtime member of the Nashville Fire Department. He was a Christian.
He was preceded in death by two siblings, Penny Sue, and Donald Roy Bennett; and his wife, Peggy Merrell-Bennett.
Survivors include: his mother, Patsy Copeland Bennet; two children, Justin Bennett and wife, Brittany, of Nashville, and Ashley Barton of West Plains, Mo.; four brothers, Danny, Donny, Ronnie and Billy Bennett, all of Nashville; also grandchildren.
A visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, at Nashville Funeral Home, with services following on Monday, Nov. at 2 p.m., also at Nashville Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Adair officiating. Burial followed in Restland Memorial Park Cemetery.
