Norma Jean Myers, 94, of Ruston, La., died Oct 7, 2023.
She was born March 25, 1929, in Stuart, Iowa, to the late William Franklin Short and Susannah Josephine “Sue” Brown Short.
She was a Baptist and was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Algiers, La.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Franklin Short, Jr.
Survivors include: a daughter, Kathy Sue Myers Steed; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Michael Myers, Jr., of Nashville.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
