Kenneth “Kenny” A. Fant, 66, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2023.
He was born March 21, 1957, in Huntington, Ind., the son of the late Cecil and Billie Ruth Fant.
He was a Dierks High School grad, and worked for Weyerhaeuser Forestry 29 years and 13 years with State Forestry. He was pastor of Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church for 21 years.
Survivors include: His wife of 48 years, Brenda Fant; daughters Kindra Fatherree and husband Avery of Newhope, and Katrina Kendrick and husband Jason of Russellville; sisters Kay Cook and Kelly Miller, both of Dierks; also grandchildren.
A funeral service was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 at the Newhope Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Jewell and Bro. Matthew Cook officiating.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Newhope.
