Linda Frances Venable, 73, died June 25, 2023.
She was born in Hope, Ark., March 23, 1950, the daughter of the late Benjamin Sid Cox and Wanda June Collums Cox. Her birth father was the late HT Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Connley Venable; a son, Jamie Gummeson, a stepson, Adam Venable, and her parents.
Survivors include: her daughter, Jeri Lynn Frohnappel and husband, Tim; sisters Gwen Carmon and husband, Dennis; TerriLynn Taylor, Phyllis Ewell and husband, Sandy; brothers Curtis Cox and wife, Sandy, and Marty Cox and wife, Janice; mother-in-law Gwin Venable; brothers-in-law Jim Venable and wife Sheila, and Mathew Venable; sister-in-law Pat Cook and husband, DeRay; grandchildren Jayda, Jayla, Jaycee, Jay Brent Spoo; great-grandchildren Taylor, Wyatt, Jayden, Justin and Brooklyn.
Graveside services at Center Point Cemetery, 2464 Hwy. 26, Nashville, will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 29.
