Harold L. Johnson, Sr., died July 17, 2023. He was born Feb. 18, 1950, to the late Charlie and Jessie Johnson in Paraloma, Ark.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of Scott’s Memorial United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by brothers Sammie Johnson, Dotson Johnson, Alfred Green and Joe L. Walker; a sister, Ethel Lou Johnson.
Survivors include: his daughter, Rosemary Johnson of Little Rock; four sons, Jamaine Johnson of Lockesburg, Michael Johnson of Nashville, Harold Johnson Jr, and Jerry Mitchell both of Kansas City, Mo.; stepchildren Dereck Hamilton and Dameyon Hamilton; sisters, Sedalia Stewart of Ozan, Elizabeth Deloach of Hope, and Charlotte Hollins of Springdale; brothers Morris Johnson of Lockesburg, Charlie Johnson of Chicago, Howard Johnson of Springfield; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 4-6 p.m. at M&H Memorial Chapel, Hope.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 29, at11 a.m. at Scott’s Memorial United Methodist Church, Lockesburg, followed by burial in Scott’s Memorial Cemetery.
