Royce Wayne Golden, 78, of Nashville, died Thursday, March 9, 2023. He was born Aug. 11, 1944, in Athens, the son of the late Kelly and Gladys Golden.
He was a member of the Church of Christ, and had been Farm Bureau agency manager in both Pike and Miller counties.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Smith Golden.
Survivors include: his two sons, Michael Golden and David Golden; his daughter Christy Mars; his brother Darrell Golden; two sisters, Linda Golden and Pat Maxwell; also grandchildren.
The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
A private family graveside service will be held in Saline Cemetery near Athens, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
