J.C. Martin, age 71, a resident of Dierks, Ark., passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Dierks Health and Rehab.
He was born July 11, 1951, in De Queen, Ark. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and a member of Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching movies, reading books and the bible. He loved art work and drawing.
J.C. was preceded in death by his parents, James Virgil and Annie Marie Smith Martin and one brother, James David Martin.
He is survived by three sisters, Peggy Parker of Newhope, Ark., Patsy Cockrum of Horatio, Ark., and Cathy Martin of Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers, Jerdie Martin of Ill., John Michael Martin of Dallas, Texas, and Gregory Martin; one aunt, Era Parker of Dierks and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for J.C. will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Harmony Cemetery near Dierks with Travis Young officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
