The Nashville Chamber of Commerce will return to a familiar format for citizen awards at its Feb. 20 annual awards banquet.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. at Occasions special events center Monday, Feb. 20, for the annual banquet. The theme is “Celebrating the Past, Present and Future.”
The meal will be catered by Patacakes and served by local 4-H members.
The banquet will be held on the birthday of retiring chamber executive director Mike Reese, who says that the program will begin at 6 and rarely lasts more than two hours.
Tickets are $30 each. Tables for eight and ten are available for reservation. Tickets may be ordered online at: 2023chamberbanquet.rsvpify.com.
According to chamber executive director Mike Reese, the awards that will be presented include:
• New and remodeled buildings.
• Memorial recognition
• Lifetime achievement
• Orange & Black
• 2022 Woman of the Year
• 2022 Man of the Year
\The outgoing chamber board present and directors will be recognized, and current and new board members will be introduced.
Reese said that he expected an attendance of more than 300.
