Coy Day Aylett, age 92, of Nashville, Ark., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, in Hot Springs, Ark. He was born March 31, 1930, in Nashville, Ark., the son of the late William Luther Aylett and Mary Virginia Ramage Aylett.

Mr. Aylett was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, he retired from the Nashville Fire Department, ARKLA Gas, and the Nashville School District where he served as maintenance director for many years.

Coy loved gardening, shelling pecans, and more importantly sharing them with many folks. He also loved pulling practical jokes which he did on many occasions.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Bain Aylett, as well as his siblings Ramage Aylett, Howard Aylett, Marthelle Branch, Mary Schooley, Hoy Aylett, and Floy Wilson.

Survivors include his son Mike Aylett and wife Sharon of Nashville, Ark.; one daughter Deb Kinkade and husband Mike of Nashville, Ark.; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 30, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 31, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, with burial to follow at County Line Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
