Vernell Fletcher, 90. of Mineral Springs, died Nov. 25, 2022.
She was born March 10, 1932, in Ozan, the daughter of Jimmy and Janie Porter.
She was a graduate of Howard County Training School in Tollette. She was a member of First Church of God, Tollette, where she served on the Mother Board.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Bradford Sr. and Cecil Fletcher; daughter, Annie Bradford; siblings, Odell Porter, Irene Moye, Jay Paul Porter, Coy “Son” Porter, Timothy Porter, Evelyn Edwards, and Edna Williams.
Survivors include: daughters, Kathy M. Keels of Tollette, Sharon D. Hamilton of Nashville, and Edna L. Hendrix of Nash, Texas; sons, Joe R. Bradford and James B. (Norma) Bradford both of Tollette; siblings, James (Jewell) Porter Jr., Dorothy Walker, George Porter all of Tollette; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were Sunday, Dec. 4, at First Church of God in Tollette with visitation prior to the service. Burial was in Crofton Cemetery, Tollette.
