Vicente Bravo Mejia, 66, of Mineral Springs died Friday, March 18, 2022, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital.
He was born Feb. 6, 1956, in Mexico, the son of the late Buenaventura Mejia and Argunea Bravo.
He worked many years for Tyson Foods in Nashville. He was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Nashville where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings.
Survivors include:, his wife, Esperanza Bravo of Mineral Springs; two children, Estevan Ponce-Bravo and Silvia Bravo, both of Mineral Springs; one step-daughter, Lizeth Chavelo of Mineral Springs; as well as brothers and sisters in Mexico, and other relatives.
A funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, with Father Salvador Vega officiating. Burial followed at Restland Memorial Park in Nashville. The family received friends Monday evening at the church. Arrangements by Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen.
