Judy Hix, 63,of Amity, died Monday, July 17, 2017, at her home. She was born Dec. 15, 1953, in Arkadelphia, Ark., the daughter of Vahnita Rather Spears and the late J.M. ‘Tiny’ Garner.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.M. “Tiny” Garner; two children, Tammy Smith and Christopher Smith; and a sister, Pat Garner.
Survivors include: her mother, Vahnita Rather Spears of Amity, Ark; two sons, Howard Smith of Delight, Ark., and Michael Smith of Hot Springs, Ark.; a brother, Alan Garner of Hot Springs, Ark.; a sister, Cathy Sumler of Nashville, Ark.; and a granddaughter, Lindsey Smith of Delight, Ark.; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, Aug. 13 at the Pisgah Cemetery at 3 p.m.
