Edith Woodall, age 97, of Kirby, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016.
She was born on January 1, 1919, in Amity, the daughter of Jonathan Cox and Oma Widener Cox. She was married on February 19, 1938 to Dewitt Woodall who preceded her in death on September 29, 2012.
She was a member of the Bethsaida Church of Christ. She enjoyed the outdoors, tending to her garden and flowers and cooking.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses, JD and Joan Carol Woodall of Daisy, Bobby and LaQuitta Woodall of Kirby, Garry and Ruth Woodall of Daisy and Tana and Don Pitts of North Little Rock; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Wallace Alexander officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, 10:00 AM until service time, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scott Woodall, Timothy Woodall, Devin Woodall, Hunter Woodall, Don Pitts and Kevin Cunningham.
Honorary pallbearers will be Don Woodall, Joseph Woodall, Jonathan Woodall, Gerald Wayne Taylor and Brent Houston.
