Pamela Diane Simmons Carter
Pamela Diane Simmons Carter, 64, of the Burg community in north Howard County, died Thursday, June 23, 2016, at her home.
She was born Feb. 3, 1952, in the Burg community, the daughter of Wanda Simmons of Burg and the late James ‘Frankie’ Simmons. She was the activity director at Dierks Health and Rehab and Mine Creek Healthcare and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include: her husband, Mike Carter; a son, Cory Carter and wife, Sara, of Burg; a brother, David Simmons of Umpire; and two granddaughters.
Graveside funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Burg Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
