Howard County Farmers Market and local Master Gardeners are conducting a free drip irrigation workshop Wednesday April 13, 1:00 pm at the Howard County Childrens’ Center. Â Training will be on low-cost drip irrigation tape suitable for small farms and home gardens. Â The system in this workshop is ideally suited for traditional row gardens, but is also useful for larger raised beds. Â Those who wish to buy their own systems will be able to purchase at reduced cost during the workshop, significantly less than purchasing supplies on their own later. Â Participants should bring dimensions of their own garden/farm plot(s) and the number of rows they wish to plant. Â Although the workshop is free, preregistration is required.
