Diary of a Wimpy Kid 9, The Long Haul, is my pick this week. Do you remember when Greg and his family were trapped in their house for pretty much all winter? Well, now it’s gone EXTREMELY MAD! Greg is trapped in the CAR with the family. Not a good thing to do when you have a family like Greg does.
WARNING: If you have a family life like Greg’s, don’t go on a road trip or a family vacation or ANYTHING like that with them! The consequences are very dire!
The Berdo family scare Greg to death! He yelled at the Berdo kids for making so much noise in the middle of the night, and their dad is hairy scary! And I mean HAIRY! So, Greg is running for his life for pretty much the whole book. It’s probably not a fun thing to do while on a road trip.
On a scale of one to ten, I give it an eleven. This book is great for kids who like this series. I’ve read the whole series and this one is the best. Laughter is the only thing you will find in this great book! I really hope you like this book as much as I liked it. If you want to read this book, go to the local Nashville library on Main Street. This book is very, very, very, very good. Winter is a great time to cuddle on the couch with a very good book and a cup of hot cocoa.
