Let the following be told in loving memory of Corey Jerome “Foot” Smith. On December 5, 2015, Corey suffered death. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Sixth Street Auditorium in Nashville at 11:00 a.m.
Our beloved Corey was born June 16, 1983 at Hope Medical Park in Hope, Arkansas to Malcom Jerome Smith and Sharon Annette Scroggins-Swift.
Corey attended school in Nashville, Arkansas where he graduated in the year 2001. He was a true Scrapper. He played football and participated in various other curricular activities. If you did not get a chance to meet Corey, you missed out on someone special. Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents Leo and Ruth Helen Scroggins and his uncles, Cleo Scroggins and Lee Autry Scroggins. Among the living left behind include, Sharon and Billy Swift, and Jerome Smith (parents); grandmothers, Verna Sewell and JoAnn Scroggins; two children, Cameri Smith of Charleston and Calek Javan Smith of Prescott; two sisters, Aniyah Nicole Smith and Mid Dawn Smith; two aunts, Helen Spencer (Leroy), Karen Rayfield (Artie) and an uncle, Eundra Scroggins, all from his mother’s side of the family; and a special friend, Lakecia Box, and her two children, Tywan and Tidorian Thompson. In the Smith family he is survived by two aunts, Tammie Henderson and Sheree´ Henderson; three uncles, Leonard Henderson, Vincent Henderson, and Jerry Smith; plus a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends who will never forget him.
