Betty Ruth Leeth, 77, passed from this life on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Highlands, Texas. Betty was born in Fort Worth on February 16, 1938 and was a 1957 graduate of Tech High School in Ft. Worth. She married Bobby Carl Knotts, father of her children, living in Ft. Worth for several years. She then moved to Hamilton, Texas in 1977 where she married Billy Gray Leeth. After the death of Billy, she moved to Arkansas where she resided until her health started to fail. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.O and Grace Muse; brothers, J.O. Jr., Bob, Doe, and Bill Muse; sister, Barbara Norrell; and grandson, Niven Walton. Survivors include her companion, Lloyd Ashley of Mineral Springs; two children, Dale Clyde Knotts and wife Teresa of York, South Carolina, Linda Ruth Wise and husband Ed of Highlands, Texas; step-children, William Lynn Davis of Jacksonville, Debbie Roberts of Minneola, and John Leeth of Hamilton; grandchildren, Curtis and Travis Knotts, Wayne and Keith Wise, and Ashley Metz; seven great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at Laurel Land Fort Worth Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Fort Worth.
