Troy T. Lingo, age 100 of Texarkana, Arkansas, formerly of Nathan, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 in Texarkana. He was born June 28, 1915 near Nathan, Arkansas to the late Ben F. and Rosie Viola Reese Lingo. He was a retired security guard for Holliday Inn. Mr. Lingo was a WWII Army veteran serving in the 1st Armor Tank Division under General George Patton in North Africa. He operated a 50 cal. that was mounted on top of the tank. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Preceding him in death other than his parents was his wife Arleen Reese Lingo. He is survived by a sister, Bernice Harris of Texarkana, Arkansas and brother Jake Lingo also of Texarkana, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Restland Memorial Park with Bro. Al Terrell officiating. The family will receive friends at Nashville Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
