Roger Dale “Puggy” Merrell, 64, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away November 3, 2015. Mr. Merrell was born July 4, 1951 in Ashdown, Arkansas to Troy and Gladolia Merrell. He was retired from Tyson where he worked as a Maintenance Supervisor. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Danny “Dinky” Merrell; and one sister, Gayla Merrell. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy Sue and Scotty Lansdell of Nashville, Monica and John Stewart of Springdale; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwayne Merrell of Ashdown, Troy and Felicia Merrell of Mineral Springs, Terry and Nancy Merrell of Nashville, Lonnie and Pam Merrell of Ashdown; one sister, Sherry Russell Jester of Kirby; three grandchildren, Victoria Lansdell, Trista Lansdell, Lily Stewart; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday November 5, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, Arkansas. Graveside Services will be Friday November 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Richmond Cemetery in Ashdown with the Rev. Clarence Green officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown.
