Mrs. Charlene Clay Miller, age 87, a resident of De Queen, died Friday, October 30, 2015 in, De Queen, Arkansas. She was born to Robert Cleveland and Elisa Matilda Artie Owens Clay at Waldron, Arkansas, on November 1, 1927. She was a Nurse and was retired from the De Queen Medical Center, as well a homemaker. She attended the First Assembly of God Church, and was a member of the EHC Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step mom, Daisy England Clay, her siblings, Ivor Clay, Robert Nolan Clay, Opal Clay, Chessie Holley, and Doyle Clay, her cousins raised as brothers, Charles Leeor Geiger, and Ottis Geiger, and on October 30, 1991, her husband, D. L. Miller. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Cecilia Miller of De Queen, a step-son, Billy and his wife, Judy Miller of Canton, Texas, a step-daughter, Shirley and her husband, Lynn Reves of Edgewood, Texas, nine grandchildren, Amanda Mangum and her husband, Clay of Columbus, Mississippi, John Lee Miller and Jessica Miller both of De Queen, Willette Jenson of Keller, Texas, Waynette Barker of Canton, Texas, Rayette Mabie of Lake Dallas, Texas, Cleaton Miller of Locus Grove, Georgia, Mike Reves of Louisville, Kentucky, and Sandy Bullard of Wills Point, Texas, fourteen great-grandchildren, including, Molly Mangum of Columbus, Mississippi, and a number nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Charlene Miller will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, De Queen on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
