Deselee Canaday, 92, of Nash, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in Nash. She was born on July 8, 1923 in Nashville, Arkansas the daughter of the late James Calvin Walston and Lavada (Self) Walston. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Canaday; one son, Dewey Canaday; 6 brothers; and 2 sisters. She is survived by one son, Rickey Canaday and wife, Nancy of Alexander; one daughter, Cathey Burden and husband, Steve of Nash, Texas; one brother, Harvey Walston of Texarkana, Texas; four grandchildren, Brandy, Bradley, Steven, and Reasha; ten great grandchildren, Brytton, Gregory, Nicholas, Riley, Layla, Brady, Kylee, Kamren, Gracey, and Hannah; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Graveside services will be on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at County Line Cemetery in Nashville, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
