Summer reading program to feature ‘Civil War In Pike County’ presentation

GLENWOOD — The Summer Reading Program for July 16, 10:00 am, at the Bainum Library will be “Military Heroes.”
A guest speaker, Avon Petty, will talk about the Civil War in Pike County and show artifacts from that era.
Veterans are also invited to come visit with the kids.
The program will have crafts, followed by lunch. All ages welcome, adults will also enjoy this presentation.
