The Montgomery County Fair will host a dutch oven cooking contest, Sat., Aug. 15.
All food must prepared at the fairgrounds. Each contestant will determine their own start time to allow for varying cooking times of different dishes, but all dishes must be ready for judging by 2 p.m.
There will be three categories: meats, desserts and other.
There will be a $5 entry fee. Prizes will be awarded.
