Harding PictureJonathan Blake Harding, age 26 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, July 18, 2015. He was born January 12, 1989 in Texarkana, Texas. His paternal grandfather, L.V. Harding Jr. and his maternal grandfather, Rex Knox preceded him in death. Blake, as everyone knew him, was a 2007 Honor Graduate of Springhill High School in Springhill, Arkansas. He loved playing sports, excelling in football, basketball, baseball and golf all at Springhill High School. He dearly loved hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Springhill, and recently had been a baseball umpire in Nashville. He is survived by his father; Johnny Harding of Nashville, his mother; Robin D’Lisa Knox Hollis of San Antonio, Texas, Paternal grandmother; Viola Harding of Center Point, Maternal Grandmother; Glenda Knox of Llano, Texas; two brothers; Kyle Harding and wife DeAnna of Texarkana, Josh Branson and wife Stephanie of Madison, Mississippi, two sisters; Holly Harding-Smith and husband David of Little Rock, Laci Bjella and husband Brandon of San Antonio, Texas; nieces and nephews; Bryce David Harding, Taylor Ann-Louise Harding, Dawson Wayne Smith, Skylar Branson, Peyton Bjella, Lily Branson and Haley Branson, as well as a large host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Nashville Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Davis and Bro. Eric Fisher officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. You may send the family an online sympathy message to www.nashvillefh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blake Harding Memorial Fund at any Red River Credit Union in his honor.
