Mr. Mickey Odessie Kennedy, age 75, a resident of Nashville, Arkansas died Sunday, June 7, 2015, in Nashville. He was born December 3, 1939 at Dierks, Arkansas to Harmon (Pete) and Lois Kennedy. Prior to retirement he worked for Dubose Equipment Co. in Longview, Texas. He was an avid hunter and outdoors man. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was a beloved father and grandfather. Mr. Kennedy was proceeded in death by his parents; Cecil Axton; great nephews-Matthew Tallant and Andrew Eric Wray; and sister, Wanda Scroggins. He is survived by one son, Mickey Lee Kennedy and wife, Leslie Kennedy, of Southlake, Texas; two grand daughters, Addisyn and Amelia Kennedy; one sister, Jean Williams of Longview, Texas; niece, Brenda and David Cranford of Horatio; great-great nephew, Matthew Wray; and nieces, Judy, Ellen, and Cathy and nephew, Ricky; and step-son, Rodney Flannagan. Graveside services for Mr. Kennedy will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in the Dierks Cemetery, with David Smith officiating, under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. Special thanks to the Thomas, Reeder, Hale, and Blakely families for their love and support.
