Jeanne was born on September 7, 1947 in Ennis, Texas, the daughter of the late Jasper Thomas Venable and Edith Marie Colvin Venable.  She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Venable.  On January 3, 2006, she married Tom Griffin.

Jeanne attended the Sunshine Church of the Nazarene and was retired from Healthpark Hospital business office after many years.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Jeanne loved Christian music and shopping, but most of all, she enjoyed spendin time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Griffin of Hot Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Birgit Holloway of Christiansted, United States Virgin Islands and Shannon and DeeAnn Ketchum of Hot Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Randy Jackson, Lafayette, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Ashley Montgomery, Cory Rogers, Sissel Holloway, Sofia Holloway, Jake Reynolds and Hunter Merritt; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Montgomery and Luke Montgomery; one brother and two sisters-in-law, Rodney and Kathy Venable and Kay Lynn Venable, all of Ennis, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Mark Rogers of Ennis, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. Tommy McDaniel officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. R. Timothy Webb, the staff of Genesis Cancer Center and the staff of Arkansas Hospice Inpatient Center.
