Additional charges filed against man accused of sexually assaulting girls

    NASHVILLE – New charges have been announced against a McCaskill man arrested in connection with allegations of sexual assault.
    Dontarius Rashaud Armstrong, 22, who was arrested last month following a report of sexual assault made by a girl 13 years of age, according to police sources. The alleged assault is reported to have occurred on the evening of May 11.
    According to recently released reports from the Nashville Police Department, the alleged victim told police that she woke that evening with Armstrong atop her, attempting to remove her shorts, and that she informed him that she would scream if he did not get off of her. He is alleged to have left the residence at that point, but sent the victim messages via Facebook after the incident.
    Armstrong was arrested on May 19 after an interview with police.
    On May 29, a 15 year old reported to police that she had intercourse with Armstrong in a vacant house in Nashville. After interviewing Armstrong about that incident, Nashville police investigator Larry Marion stated that Armstrong had admitted to having intercourse with the 15 year old, and also stated that he had intercourse with another 13 year old approximately two to three years ago.
    In addition to the initial charge of sexual assault in the second degree, Armstrong now faces a second charge of sexual assault in the second degree and a charge of sexual assault in the fourth degree.
    He is being held at the Howard County jail on $150,000 bond.
