Peggy (Lee) Lewallen, 77, of Hope died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026.
She was born May 20, 1949, in Delight, the daughter of the late Orville and Glendora Lee.
She worked 26 years in the Public Defender’s Office.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lewallen; two sisters, Virginia House and Wanda Puryear.
Survivors include: her son, Waylon Lewallen; her brother, Sonny Lee; also grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Delight Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.
