Martha Suzanne Peebles 74 of Nashville, Ark., passed away Oct. 26, 2026, in Nashville. She was born Dec. 22, 1951, in Shreveport, La., to James D. Jones and Martha L. Reese Jones.
Suzanne was a devoted member of Blue Bayou Church of Christ, where she loved inviting others to worship and share in her faith. Her favorite scripture was Romans 12:1. She worked many years as a registered nurse, dedicating her time and compassion to caring for others. In her spare time, Suzanne enjoyed painting with gel pens, a hobby which she excelled. She was especially proud to have won a prize at the fair for her artwork for the past two years.
Suzanne was proceeded in death by her parents; her daughter, Amy Peebles Quinney; her grandson, Andrew Jones Peebles; and brothers J.D. Jones Jr. and Jimmy Ray Jones.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years, Dr. Sam Peebles; two sons Damon (Michelle) Peebles of Hope, Ark., and Samuel (Amanda) of Spokane, Wash.; grandchildren Kaden Alexandria Peebles, Breanna Reese Peebles, and Anatasia (Johnathon) Rauch.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology unit or your favorite charity.
Services were 2 p.m. Saturday Oct. 31, 2026, at Blue Bayou Church of Christ.
