Leonie Williamson, 88, of Nashville, Ark., passed away on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, in Texarkana, Texas. She was born May 27, 1938, in Göschenen, Switzerland, the daughter of the late Emil Kieliger and Sophie Püntener Kieliger.
Mrs. Williamson was of the Catholic faith. She was a midwife for many years and also served as a librarian. During her free time, she enjoyed knitting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Wilhelmina Herger, two sisters Beatrice Gamma and Sophie Fritz; and one brother, Emil Kieliger.
Survivors include: her husband of 55 years, Oscar Williamson, Sr., of Nashville, Ark.; one son, Oscar Williamson, Jr., and wife, Vicki of Nampa, Ind.; one daughter, Karen Webb and husband, Bradley of Bristow, Va.; one brother, Erhard Kieliger of Altdorf, Switzerland; one sister, Erica Ryter of Göschenen, Switzerland; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
