Miller Hendrix of Mineral Springs went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026. He passed peacefully at PAM Health Specialty Hospital Texarkana with his family by his side.
Miller was born Oct. 16, 1937, in Howard County, Ark., to Otis Logan Hendrix and Rosie Lee (Smith) Hendrix. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Betty Ogden, Artie Lee Graves, Ellawese Long, and one brother Junior (Sonny) Hendrix.
Miller Hendrix never hesitated to express his love for God. Later in life, he accepted Christ and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost, a moment that marked a beautiful and meaningful chapter in his walk of faith.
He is survived by two sisters: Hazel Whitmore, Nashville, Ark., and Queen Layette and one brother-in-law, Toledo, Ohio; a sister-in-law Evelyn Hendrix, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be Oct. 3, 2026, at Hicks Funeral Home, 407 S Hazel St., Hope, AR 71801. Viewing is between 10-10:45 a.m.; services to start at 11 a.m.
