Justin Wescott, 43, of Nashville, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Nashville, Ark. He was born March 17, 1983, in Berkeley, Calif., the son of Felicia Hall Merrell and the late Troy Merrell.
Justin was a member of Center Point Missionary Baptist Church and was a Master Mason at the Dierks Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, running dogs and being a member of the Blue Bayou Hunting Club. Justin loved collecting especially Ninja Turtles.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents John Cass, Cathy Cass and Gladiola Merrell. One aunt Johnna Peek, as well as several aunts and uncles.
Survivors include: his wife Alicia Venable Wescott; one son Wade Wescott; two daughters, Emily and Adi Wescott; his mother, Felicia Merrell; two brothers, Jason Merrell (Jazzmyn) and Billy Wayne Merrell (Julie); his father-and-mother-in-law Jim and Sheila Venable and Karen Mumau; one sister-in-law Stephanie McBride; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 17, at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Center Point Missionary Baptist Church, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
